Voices.com is thrilled to announce that it now has over 1 million registered users. Founded in 2005, Voices.com has grown to become the world’s largest marketplace connecting businesses with voice over talent.

This landmark milestone has come during a time when the world needs to source voice over online more than ever. The team at Voices.com is grateful to be able to continue to help brands find the right voice for their projects and to connect people from home studio to home office.

These times are challenging and Voices.com is a solution for many of our customers in their time of need. Producers who once had the luxury of being on-site in recording studios can no longer do so because of government-initiated lock downs and social distancing rules. Restrictions have forced people to seek online alternatives, many of whom have discovered Voices.com. Similarly, aspiring voice talent have been registering in record numbers, and, not surprisingly, professional voice talent who have invested in remote recording studio technologies are benefiting from the increase in demand. The Lazaridis ScaleUp Program afforded us the opportunity to gain access to and learn from leaders in Canadian tech. Not only were practitioners sharing what works and what doesn’t at each stage of a company’s evolution, we also heard from entrepreneurs who shared their experience raising capital as a Canadian technology company as well as those who recently exited for millions of dollars. Additionally the one-on-one mentorship was invaluable.  Knowing that you can confide in a seasoned entrepreneur means a lot when we all live in a world with such pressure to perform.  Our mentor kept us grounded and focused on the few things that matter.
