Second annual Limitless awards to recognize world-class, Made-in-Ontario entrepreneurs and ventures 

In a region ripe with innovation and entrepreneurship, highlighting individuals and businesses that overcome barriers, prove resilience, and work creatively within our ecosystem is integral to ensuring the continuation of our thriving innovation economy. Recognizing the transformative collaboration and ingenuity of world-class, Made-in-Ontario enterprises, TechAlliance of Southwestern Ontario proudly announces Limitless 2022: A Celebration of Regional Innovation.  

Following a strong inaugural year of Limitless, Techalliance puts a spotlight on regional changemakers who focus on curating a vibrant community full of promising ventures and tenacious startups, bolstering a globally competitive innovation economy. “Innovators propel our world forward in bold and impactful ways,” said Christina Fox, Chief Executive Officer of TechAlliance. “Recognizing the magnetism of successful innovation, it is important to celebrate the hard-working individuals who dedicate their energy to advancing innovations and engaging in this electrifying community of innovators. We are pleased to invite founders, industry leaders, and stakeholders to celebrate and recognize those who are fueling a prosperous future for all”. 

Limitless 2022: A Celebration of Regional Innovation will be hosted live on February 9, 2022, and will feature individuals and ventures who demonstrate excellence in key categories. 

Four of the five awards are now open for public applications. Nominations will remain active until October 18, 2021. Finalists in each category will be announced on November 9, 2021, at which time, The People’s Choice Award will open for public voting based on finalists from the following categories: 

• THE BREAKTHROUGH AWARD recognizes a company who has brought a novel and impactful solution to market, whose technology clearly demonstrates next-level innovation. 
• THE GAMECHANGER AWARD recognizes a company whose culture is paramount to the success of their business, accelerating growth and profitability while creating positive impact. 
• THE SCALEUP AWARD recognizes a company that has realized substantial growth over the last 12 months and achieved success through leadership, market impact, and innovation.  
• THE FORTHCOMER AWARD recognizes a trailblazing young professional, 29 years of age and under, working to create an impact in the world of innovation through an innovative solution or business.
