AutoVerify, powered by Mobials Inc., recently stunned their employees with a holiday gift that verifies the company’s strong commitment to supporting employee mental health and local economies.

After a virtual holiday lunch sponsored by AutoVerify, it was announced that each employee was being given a generous vacation package at the Killarney Mountain Lodge in Killarney, Ontario (www.killarney.com).

It’s been an unbelievable time. Our team is everything to us, and after learning about the increased mental health challenges faced by Canadians this year, we wanted to do something for our team to ease the stress brought on by all-things 2020 while investing in local economies that have struggled under pandemic restrictions. A safe, remote vacation seemed to be the perfect way to thank our team for pulling together and producing incredible results this year. It gives them a chance to relax, unwind, and reconnect with their loved ones, while supporting the Canadian hospitality industry and a resort with strong ties to the London community

Killarney Mountain Lodge (KML) was purchased by Londoners Holden and Carey Rhodes in 2015. Located 430 kilometres north of Toronto and previously accessible only by boat and float plane, a 68-kilometre highway was built to connect the resort to the rest of the province. The resort now employs about 25% of the village of Killarney’s residents and attracts tourists looking for a mix of outdoor activities and relaxation. It has quickly become known as the most beautiful, idyllic vacation destination in Ontario, winning prestigious awards like the Travel and Hospitality Awards 2019 Ontario Resort of the Year.

When asked for his thoughts on the gift from AutoVerify, Lodge owner Holden Rhodes said, “I have deep roots in the Canadian automotive industry and even deeper roots in London, Ontario, so I couldn’t be happier to welcome the AutoVerify team to experience Killarney. They’ll have the opportunity to customize the length and style of their stay to fit the needs of themselves and their families, and they can choose between hiking, canoeing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, or just sitting on their balcony admiring Georgian Bay and the Canadian Shield. What AutoVerify has done here is wonderful, and I’m honoured to be a part of it.”

This gift comes as AutoVerify and its parent-company Mobials Inc. close out a challenging yet successful year. In this time, Mobials has celebrated several accolades recognizing the company’s community, social and economic impacts. These awards include the London Chamber of Commerce’s Business Achievement Award for Best Medium-Sized Business, the Globe and Mail’s second-annual ranking of Canada’s Top Growing Companies, and its second year on Canadian Business’ coveted Growth List of Fastest-Growing Companies. Mobials was also certified as a Living Wage employer by the London Poverty Research Centre this year, highlighting the company’s commitment to the economic security of its employees.
