Digital Extremes announced today purchases of its new TennoCon Game Packs will support its two charity partners, Autism Ontario London and The Alzheimer Society London and Middlesex. For the fifth year running, Digital Extremes’ TennoCon, the Warframe®-dedicated game conference created for its 50 million-plus player base, will take place from 11 am to 6 pm ET, Saturday, July 11. Due to health restrictions created by the Coronavirus (COVID-19), TennoCon 2020 will be an all-digital event, and it is now included in the very first Summer Game Fest program.
Following last year’s extended panel streams, Digital Extremes already had planned to expand digital programming in 2020 so more players from home could experience and celebrate the joy of TennoCon. This year, working from home, DE will broadcast all TennoCon content live via Twitch, Mixer, YouTube, and Facebook Live.
Three new TennoCon packs were designed for players to feel the excitement and connectedness of TennoCon’s all-digital conference in lieu of a physical event. The Digital Pack ($24.99 USD) is an exclusive suite of in-game cosmetics, items and Baro’s Relay; the Merch Pack ($34.99 USD) includes exclusive physical TennoCon gear (beautiful commemorative T-shirt and pin). And the TennoCon Bundle ($54.99 USD) combines both Digital and Merch Packs at a discounted rate. Check Warframe’s website for more details.
Because TennoCon is a charity event, a portion of all proceeds will be given to Digital Extremes’ valued partners, Autism Ontario London and Alzheimer Society London and Middlesex (ASLM), two community-oriented, local Canadian organizations that help citizens in need of special attention and care.
Since its debut in 2016, TennoCon’s digital streams, like Warframe itself, remain free. Players who would like to donate during the event itself can do so via Warframe’s Tiltify page, which will go live during TennoCon, Tiltify.com/.
