I started programming games in the mid 80’s from my bedroom. Before that, I spent every break waiting to get my turn at the local arcade machine or weekends at a friend’s home computer. I quickly noticed that I was more interested in analyzing the games than playing them.
Big Blue Bubble was the result of a few years of intensive preparations and spending many hours after work developing a business plan and game ideas.
In 2003, my wife, Renata, and I went on a summer vacation and it’s during that time that we both decided we would quit our jobs to make our dreams of Big Blue Bubble a reality.
A few weeks later, we found out we were expecting and timed the business start date with the birth of our son. It all happened quickly after that. Once we quit, we found an office, hired employees and jumped in with both feet. In just a couple of months, our first game was ready.
