Join us for the February
Join us for the February Breakfast Club, and learn how the Future City Strategy will affect your business.
Future City is a community discussion about connecting London and how to improve our City through technology. A Strategy is being prepared to guide investment and partnerships so the City of London can implement initiatives around four pillars that include smart living, smart infrastructure, smart economy and smart decisions/governance.
As part of preparing this Strategy a comprehensive engagement needs to take place with the community to ensure we get the right key focuses to invest or partner in to improve the overall quality of life for Londoners. Sean Galloway, the Manager of Urban Design and Geographic Information Systems for the City of London will give an overview of Future City and how it has the potential to support the growth of local businesses and the tech sector as a whole.
Sean’s presentation will cover:
- What is Future City?
- Why do we want to prepare a Future City Strategy?
- Why do you want to get involved in this process?
- How will this strategy potentially affect local growth for the city and businesses
- What will the strategy do for attracting talent and a strong labour pool to our city
