What programming languages can my team use?

Languages: HTML, PHP, ASP.NET, Flash, SilverLight
Supporting languages: CSS, JavaScript
Suggested browsers: Firefox 3, Internet Explorer 7/8

Does the site have to be hosted on a server or can we just give you the files and you can navigate through the site that way?

TechAlliance will provide hosting for the completed website once it has been submitted here. The eligible programming languages all have free development tools that will allow contestants to prepare their websites on any Windows XP or Vista based PC. You are free to use whatever development tools best suit your needs.

Are we allowed to post the site on a web server?

All files needed to deploy the entire website along with all source code must be submitted for judging. Please see above for the programming languages that will be accepted for competition.

If the site cannot be situated on a server by the rules/regulations what raw file format would you like the website to be in?

If a database support is desired please let us know more details and we will advise on availability. Please see above for the programming languages that will be accepted for competition.
