TechAlliance is pleased to welcome Matt Quin as the Manager of Marketing and Communications effective August 3, 2010.

Matt joins the TechAlliance team after four years as the Communications Specialist for the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Western Ontario.

Matt has a degree in Psychology from the University of Waterloo (with an option in legal studies/criminology) and a post-degree certificate in Public Relations and Corporate communications from Fanshawe College.

After completing studies at Fanshawe College, he joined the team at The Grand Theatre where he managed the theatre’s media and community relations.

Community involvement is of high priority for Matt. He has volunteered at many local organizations including Museum London (Marketing and Development committee), London Chamber of Commerce (Marketing and Communications committee), IABC London and Doors Open London.

He also keeps busy teaching PR and communications at both Fanshawe College and Western in their Continuing Studies programs.

“I am very excited to join TechAlliance,” notes Quin. “TechAlliance contributes a great deal to London and the surrounding area and I can’t wait to be a part of the work that they do to promote and enhance the tech sector. They are leaders in the community and I hope that I can add to their continued success.”
