TechAlliance Breakfast Club

TechAlliance Breakfast Club

"What is Twitter and why do people care what I’m doing?”
seems to be the most common question when explaining this up-and-coming social media tool. Twitter is essentially a microblog that can be used for a wide variety of purposes, including customer interaction, broadcasting news and blogs, and easy communication with stakeholders. In this session, we’ll discuss:

The Basics:

  • How to use Twitter step-by-step, including the fundamentals: How do I find followers?
  • What do customers or employees expect from your Twitter feed?
  • How to build relationships
  • How to promote traffic to your website or blog

The Etiquette:

  • How many Tweets should I send out daily?
  • What is considered appropriate content?
  • When do I block someone from following me?
  • When NOT to respond to a critic
  • The most effective ways to engage your audience and key stakeholders

Join us for the launch of the 2009/2010 TechAlliance Breakfast Club season as local Twitterati @titusferguson, @billdeys and @ericablonde speak to the ins and outs of Twitter.

With a combined 2544 followers and over 17,000 tweets, these individuals have shown great leadership in the London Twitter community and serve as fantastic resources of information. Don’t miss it!
