SR&ED: How to Build a More Effective Claim Under t661-08
As part of London Tech Week 2010, this three-hour workshop is aimed at helping technology entrepreneurs de-code the SR&ED rules, learn how to use CRA’s new t661-08 claim form, and get familiar with a few key tax planning concepts that will maximize the tax benefit.
Why? Because there have been some significant changes in the claim process that mean your next SR&ED claim will probably look a lot different than your last one.
The last two Federal and Ontario budgets have made significant changes in how SR&ED benefits are calculated. Although subtle, these changes greatly increase the amount of cash refund available.
CRA has introduced a new claim form (t661-08) that features several new categories of information. Not surprisingly with all that extra cash available, CRA auditors will be scrutinizing your claim more closely than ever before and t661-08 is the perfect tool to do it with.
