RBC Royal Bank’s Knowledge Based Industries (KBI) Team consists of 12+ specialized Commercial Financial Services Account Managers across Ontario and is supported by 8 Associate Account Managers. The KBI Team in Southwestern Ontario was formed over 10 years ago, offering relationship account management to companies in the technology markets. The KBI Team provides a broad range of solutions in lending (including Scientific Research & Experimental Development (SR&ED) bridge loans), investments, international trade, cash management, foreign exchange and day-to-day banking services. We also offer specialized financial and business advice to early stage technology companies and throughout their growth. The SWO KBI Team is actively involved in supporting and/or working with the following technology organizations in the various communities: Communitech, Viatech, BitNet, CVCA, GHVF and TechAlliance.
