As start-ups face many challenges, some that affect most businesses and others that are specific to each individual company, TechAlliance’s mentorship program offers entrepreneurs one-on-one advice targeting particular issues.

In partnership with the Business Mentorship and Entrepreneurship Program (BMEP), TechAlliance provides new companies mentorship with a seasoned entrepreneur, best known as our Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EiR). This key member of the TechAlliance Business Suite of Services team consults with clients to provide them with sound advice on topics such as strategic and market planning, accounting, budgeting, fund-raising, and governance.

As part of BMEP’s network of thirteen Entrepreneurs-in- Residence, clients can not only access TechAlliance’s EiR, but also any of the program’s advisors offering their expertise in market intelligence, business coaching, capitalization strategies and more. BMEP is part of the Ministry of Research and Innovation’s Market Readiness Program and is managed by TechAlliance partner MaRS Discovery District.
