Initially launched in 2007 as IT LIVES in London, now, London Tech Week has evolved to celebrate and recognize the strength of the entire local technology sector. This includes the outstanding capacity for innovation and creativity represented by the region's thriving digital media, web development and design, gaming, and information and communication technology companies.

With core professional development programs such as business seminars and the Town Hall Forum and Networking Luncheon, plus the awareness campaign for students, London Tech Week initiatives facilitate connections among industry players, stakeholders and our next-geneartion workforce, helping foster the sharing of knowledge, challenges, and best practices related to the local technology sector.
