Job Shadow Program: Help the next generation aspire to do great things.

Job Shadow Program: Help the next generation aspire to do great things

How: Join Western's network of employers in hosting a Social Science student for our 3rd annual Job Shadowing Program.

When: The program takes place at your convenience during the month of November.

The job shadow program provides Social Science students with the opportunity to learn about professional opportunities within their area of career interest. Students will be introduced to potential career paths and observe a "day-in-the-life" of a professional in the field. The job shadow program is open to all second and third year Social Science students.

Job shadowing experiences are being provided by London employers, and community members and last one full day or one half day. The date of the actual job shadow is determined by both you the student and the employer providing the experience; however it should take place during the month of November. Students are responsible for any transportation, or other costs associated with participating in the program.

Hosting a student is a great way to increase your company/organization's recognition on campus among the best and brightest students and provides an easy way for you to give back with flexibility and very little time commitment. By hosting a student you will help strengthen success and workforce readiness by allowing students to see firsthand the skills they will need to be successful in the future.

Please contact Sarah Dawson at the Social Science Career Center to participate in this program.
