EK3 - Operations Project Manager

The Role:

Using your extensive project experience in enterprise Production IT environments, as the Operations Project Manager working within the Service Delivery Management and Technical Support Teams, you will you will plan, execute, and finalize projects according to firm deadlines and within budget.  This includes establishing resource requirements and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.  For your projects, you will play a key role leading the collaboration/facilitation among key stakeholders across the organization to provide visibility through weekly & quarterly reporting on project deliverables, risks and impacts.  As well, you will provide mentorship to junior project management team members.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Technical University bachelor’s degree, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Minimum 5-years direct work experience in a project management capacity in a production IT environment, including all aspects of process development and execution.
  • Project Management Certifications an asset
  • ITIL Knowledge
  • Demonstrated experience in people management.
  • Technically competent with various software programs, such as Microsoft Office Project

Special Requirements:

Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as required from time-to-time and be willing and able to travel as requested by supervisor
