EK3 - Accountant

The Role:

This role is required to perform various accounting and administrative functions within the Finance & Administration Division.  The successful individual will work closely within the Finance team, and will report to the Financial Controller.  This is a permanent full-time position. The incumbent will be responsible to complete the full set of financial reports for a subsidiary of EK3.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Completion of EK3 Media Inc. financial statements and management reports such as “Booked Revenue”, “Media Sales by Category” and other sales reports.
  • Contract administration and invoicing for EK3 Media Inc.
  • Contract administration and invoicing for EK3 Technologies Inc.
  • Maintain accuracy of intercompany transactions and reconciliations between four related companies
  • Collection of Accounts Receivable for EK3 Media Inc.
  • Process Accounts Payable invoices for EK3 Media Inc.
  • Assist with month end closing, including general ledger account reconciliation.
  • Assist with various projects as required.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 2nd level CGA
  • At least 2 years’ experience within accounting/administration.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge of MS Access
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics / Simply Accounting is preferred
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours / overtime when necessary.
