Job Details:

Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, CarProof is excited to announce the new position of Senior C# Developer. 

You are a computer science specialist, who has a minimum of 5 years of C# programming experience under your belt, with exceptional communication skills. Given these characteristics, you have the ability to manage daily tactical issues including programming in an extremely fast-paced environment.  This is an excellent opportunity for an extremely detail-oriented, organized, people-oriented candidate to excel in, and grow your career.

In addition to the above, interested candidates must be able to articulate effectively, maintain composure and act as trouble-shooters who are passionate about finding solutions to problems.  We need someone who thrives on providing quality customer service and satisfaction to our other teams (IT Infrastructure, Sales, Marketing, Finance and Admin).

This full-time position is based in CarProof’s London, Ontario head office and compensation includes base salary commensurate with experience, performance bonuses and health/dental benefits.

Position Responsibilities:

• Design and code applications ranging from web services to Windows forms
• Work with systems team to ensure proper rollout strategy and configuration
• Work with development team to define and promote coding best practices
• Perform code maintenance on existing applications
• Work with QA to ensure testing requirements are met

Education and experience required:

• Post-secondary education in computer science
• Strong programming and technical computer skills in C#, ASP.NET and Visual Studio
• Excellent time management skills

• Minimum of 5 years of C# programming experience
• Outstanding interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Superior organizational and planning skills
• Very adept at problem analysis and the problem solving
• Great team player as well as being able to work alone with no need for micro-management
